About us
The MCS PTO is a group of parents and caregivers, teachers, staff, and community members who support a variety of programs and activities at MCS.
ALL families, teachers, and staff at MCS are members of the PTO. We do not require membership fees to participate in our events and activities.
What we do
We support MCS teachers, staff and students throughout the school year. Here are a few examples.
We fund and support school-wide traditions, including Popsicles on the Playground, Bike to School Day, Field Day, Skating and S’mores on the Green, Book Buzz, Apple Day and more.
Our grant program funds special projects inside and outside the classroom.
Past projects include visitors from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the blue picnic tables in front of the school, winter gear for Forest Friday, math fluency kits, and creative classroom seating options.

The Marion Cross School PTO is a registered nonprofit organization in the State of Vermont. Our PTO is governed by bylaws that outline our organization’s purpose, structure, and operations.
