The PTO is a volunteer-led team, and there are many opportunities to get involved in the school community.
2026-2027 Volunteer Opportunities
Parents and staff volunteers help keep MCS traditions going strong. Whether you have a little time to share or want to take on a seasonal project, there are lots of ways to get involved and make a difference in our school community.
Please complete this Volunteer Interest Form to express your initial interest in volunteer opportunities, and we’ll include you in topic-specific updates.

Apple Day Volunteers Needed!
Apple Day is coming up on October 22nd! This longstanding MCS tradition celebrates fall in Vermont with a bounty of apples and apple-themed activities on the playground. Students will taste apple varieties from Riverview Farm, make cider, create apple art, run apple relay races, and more!
We need adult helpers to support activity stations and donate apples for the event. Please sign up to help make this event a success!
Tea Towel Coordinator
Coordinate this annual seasonal project, working with the school to turn self-portraits into tea towels for families to purchase. Help manage communication, orders, and deadlines, with proceeds supporting the PTO. Contact Christina Aquila, current Tea Towel Coordinator, for more information.
