Looking for your child’s next great read? Book Buzz is one of the easiest (and most fun) ways to find it. This lively event features 18 MCS students in grades 4–6 and several community adults sharing quick, 90-second reviews and six-word summaries of books they love.

In just over an hour, you’ll hear 22 fast-paced recommendations spanning chapter books, graphic novels, and a few standout picture books—perfect for family read-alouds, independent readers ages 8–12, and even some middle school picks.

Best of all, kids love hearing other kids talk about books—the excitement is contagious. You’ll leave with a list of titles worth trying and fresh inspiration to keep reading. The Norwich Bookstore will have books available for purchase after the event (and for a week following), with 20% of sales benefiting MCS.
