We postponed this event last week, so we’re going to try again!
If you’re new to the MCS Community or have been around for a while and need some reminders, here’s what you need to know:
RIDERS and WALKERS:
Pre-K to 1st Grade - All riders in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grades will line up on Hazen Street by the library.
Grades 2 to 6 - All riders in Grades 2-6 will meet at Huntley Meadow parking lot and be organized by grade.
Walking is encouraged, too! All walkers should assemble in the library parking lot.
Please be ready to ride at the designated starting point by 7:30 am. Wheels roll promptly at 7:40 am.
VOLUNTEERS:
As with any event, we need volunteers to make the magic happen! We need 30 minutes of your time – as a bike leader for a grade level, a walk leader, and or a road monitor at an intersection.
Bike Leaders are needed for each grade level. Volunteers should arrive by 7:30 and ride to MCS with their assigned grade.
We need Walk Leaders for our walking bus. Please meet at the library at 7:30.
Road monitors are needed for all intersections. Volunteers should arrive at their assigned road by 7:30 and stop cars by 7:40. Please wear bright-colored clothing.
Please reach out to Molly Riordan (marymriordan@gmail.com) and the PTO (marioncrosspto@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
